Job summary

MEI is seeking a Lead Millwright in Columbus, OH to install, align, and service heavy machinery and equipment on client sites. You will lead installation teams, perform rigging and alignment tasks, and ensure work meets safety standards and schedules.

The role requires 3+ years of millwright experience, strong English communication, and a solid safety mindset for field operations. Physical, outdoor work in varied weather is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 3+ years millwright experience in construction or industrial settings.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain machinery using hand and power tools.
• Align and level machines and equipment to specifications.
• Dismantle machinery for shipment and install at sites.
• Ensure safety standards and pre-task planning compliance.
• Test rigging and operate lifting equipment safely.
