Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Millwork Superintendent for a commercial project in New York, NY. The role oversees all millwork operations from planning to installation, ensuring quality and timely delivery on-site.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in millwork supervision, strong reading of drawings, and familiarity with safety standards like SST. A related degree is preferred and compensation is competitive.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in millwork superintendent or similar role.
• Experience with architectural millwork, woodwork, and casework.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specs.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all millwork activities to meet schedule and budget.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine requirements.
• Collaborate with PM, engineers, designers to develop plans.
• Supervise millwork staff and provide training.
• Conduct site inspections for safety and quality.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for materials.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain project documentation and closeout documents.
• Foster a safe, collaborative work environment.
