Starlite Building Services in the New York area is seeking a Millwork Project Manager to lead millwork projects and supervise carpentry and labor staff, ensuring quality, execution, and profitability.

You will manage project setup, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and client relations from pre-construction through closeout, driving safe, efficient delivery and internal growth of talent.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in Millwork Project Management
• Knowledge of estimating processes and delivery methods
• Experience managing multiple projects in a growing organization
• Experience maintaining budgets and schedules

Responsibilities

• Lead millwork projects and manage carpentry and labor staff to ensure quality, execution, and profitability.
• Prepare estimates and budgets, in line with company policies, and participate in pre-project walk-throughs.
• Set up projects to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Lead project execution from pre-construction to closeout and post-construction services.
• Maintain schedules, identify risks, and improve profitability on each project.
• Drive the change order process and ensure fair approvals.
• Develop and mentor staff, promoting effective communication and relationships.
