Job summary

USAM DC is seeking a Lead Project Engineer (Millwork Engineer) to oversee engineering activities across multiple projects. You will review drawings, prepare submittals, incorporate redlines, and coordinate with Project Managers and Production to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 5–10 years in architectural millwork, strong AutoCAD and Microvellum skills, and familiarity with AWI standards. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with opportunities to lead project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Wood Technology, or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years' drafting/drawing experience with AutoCAD and/or Microvellum.
• 5–10 years' experience in architectural millwork industry.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and prepare submittal documents.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer Manager and other teams to meet deadlines.
• Update drawings for fabrication and field dimensions.
• Use AutoCAD and Microvellum to prepare production drawings.
• Release drawings and reports for production.
