Job summary

Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a reliable Lead Millwork Installer to lead 1-3 trim carpenters on residential and commercial projects. You will manage daily crew activities, ensure safety, and communicate with project managers.

Qualifications

• Experience of residential and/or commercial trim/cabinetry work.
• Valid Drivers License / Clean driving record.
• Good verbal communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the course of the day.
• Construction Experience/Background.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading 1-3 trim carpenters.
• Safety toolbox meetings.
• Reporting time for crew daily.
• Job budgets.
• Expense reporting.
• Carrying lifting and loading wood materials and hand tools daily.
• Using power tools constantly throughout the day.
• Communicate with Builder/Customer/Project Manager as issues arise on the job site.
• Perform light tear out if necessary.
• Apply caulk, silicon, and other epoxy and adhesives.
