Concepts in Millwork is seeking an Advanced Millwork Bench Carpenter in Colorado Springs to craft high-end millwork pieces with precision. You will read blueprints, fabricate diewalls, countertops, and casework, and lead a small team while maintaining safety and quality throughout the shop.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of bench carpentry experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work from shop drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Millwork Bench Carpenter.
• Experience with high-end custom millwork is required.
• Able to lead a team through fabrication processes.
• Strong reading of shop drawings and blueprints.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings and elevations and relate views to project requirements.
• Sand solid wood and veneers with pneumatic and hand tools.
• Verify dimensions before assembly and fabricate diewalls and trim.
• Create jigs for routing reveals, arcs, and profiles.
• Identify wood species and fabricate solid surface materials.
• Apply laminates and ensure tight joints without bubbles.
• Lead a team through fabrication of display units and reception desks.
• Maintain organized work area and comply with safety rules.
