Qualifications

• Must understand student-athlete safety and proper skill-set training for coaching competitive interscholastic basketball.
• Ability to pass a background and criminal history check.
• Must possess and maintain a valid first aid/CPR/AED card.
• Must pass all training as designated by the OSAA and Jewell School District.

Responsibilities

• Train student-athletes using safe and strenuous sport-specific exercise.
• Supervise and teach student-athletes according to OSAA and Jewell School policies.
• Keep the school district, parents, and public informed about student-athlete and team progress and achievement.
• Carry out other comparable duties as assigned by the AD.
