Qualifications
- Ph.D. required with minimum 3+ years postdoctoral/industry experience.
- Expertise in microbiology and molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR/RT-ddPCR, culturing, metagenomics, and NGS workflows.
- Strong publication, patent, or grant submission track record and ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, optimization, and validation of molecular, microbial, genomic, and cellular diagnostic assays for point-of-care and lab use.
- Drive research programs in infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, cancer biomarkers, and host-pathogen interactions.
- Design and execute complex experiments with NGS, metagenomics, and transcriptomics; interpret data to identify targets and biomarkers.
