Job summary

Kincell Bio, LLC is seeking a Microbiology Technician Lead to join our Quality Control team in Gainesville, FL. This contract role will lead daily microbiology operations, perform environmental monitoring, and coordinate sampling for external testing to support GMP manufacturing.

You will mentor technicians, oversee sterility and endotoxin testing, troubleshoot methods, and ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology or related field.
• 2+ years of GMP microbiology lab experience.
• Experience in environmental monitoring in cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead microbiology and environmental monitoring activities in GMP manufacturing.
• Coordinate daily workload and prioritize QC testing and investigations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor microbiology personnel.
• Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment; ensure data integrity.
• Review records and ensure procedures compliance.
