Job summary

Kincell Bio LLC seeks a Microbiology Technician Lead to join the Quality Control team on a temporary contract at the Gainesville, FL site. You will lead environmental monitoring and microbiology testing supporting aseptic manufacturing, with emphasis on data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a microbiology degree and GMP experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills to guide technicians and coordinate investigations and QA collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related field with GMP lab experience.
• Experience with environmental monitoring in classified cleanrooms.
• Gowning in classified cleanrooms.
• Proficiency in microbiological testing incl. sterility, endotoxin, and environmental monitoring.
• Ability to lead microbiology personnel.
• Knowledge of GMP, data integrity, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support and leadership for microbiology lab and environmental monitoring.
• Coordinate daily microbiology workload and prioritize environmental monitoring and QC testing.
• Serve as a key technical resource and backup for microbiology testing activities.
• Perform microbiological testing to support operations and investigations.
• Perform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms and lab areas.
• Perform sterility testing and method verification.
• Maintain lab equipment and coordinate calibration/servicing.
• Assist with microbiology investigations and data review.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other departments.
• Ensure activities comply with SOPs, GMP, and data integrity.
