Job summary

Nile Healthcare System, based in the North Metro Atlanta region, seeks a board-certified/eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to establish and lead a new high-risk obstetrics service. This is a unique opportunity to build the MFM practice within a well-established OB/GYN group.

Ideal candidate will drive in-person and hybrid consultation coverage, collaborate with obstetrics, family medicine, midwives, and APPs, and help grow the MFM panel while integrating with the system’s clinical

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology and completed fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Active or eligible Georgia medical license; able to obtain hospital privileges at Nile's affiliated delivering hospital(s).
• Experience in comprehensive obstetric ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, and invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient maternal-fetal medicine consultation and comprehensive anatomy ultrasound, growth scans, Doppler studies, NSTs, and BPPs.
• Perform fetal echocardiography and invasive diagnostic procedures (amniocentesis, CVS).
• Provide genetic counseling and coordination for high-risk pregnancies with referring OB/GYN and family medicine providers.
