Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Merchandiser Lead to partner with the Merchandising Supervisor in developing staff through training and coaching. You will be scheduled to merchandise accounts as needed and to lead field activities across our Missouri routes.

The role requires training capabilities, leadership experience in merchandising, and comfort with using iPads and handheld devices in the field. Weekend work and a 5 am start time are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; minimum one year work experience.
• Prior merchandising and leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with minimal supervision and basic tech usage (iPad, smartphone).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate safety equipment will be required.

Responsibilities

• Trains new and existing merchandisers; conducts onboarding and retraining.
• Acts as point of contact for the Merchandising Supervisor on days off; handles calls and schedule changes.
• Monitors daily merchandising activities in Pace using an iPad; conducts weekly audits and check-ins.
• Covers open routes and fulfills daily merchandising activities as needed.
• Ensures safe working techniques and equipment use; reports unsafe conditions.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
