Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages is seeking a driven Merchandiser/Route Assistant to replenish and merchandise products at Large Store accounts. The role acts as an acting supervisor, motivates the team, and ensures merchandising standards are met across designated routes.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and experience in merchandising or grocery stocking. Starting pay ranges from $21.27 to $26.86 per hour with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of general work experience required.
• 1+ year in a people leading role.
• Ability to repetitively lift 50+ pounds; bend and reach.
• Previous sales/merchandising experience preferred.
• Excellent planning and organization skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have a personal vehicle for business hours.

Responsibilities

• Designate location, build and maintain product displays and equipment placements per company standards.
• Maintain product levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts.
• Manage back stock inventory levels and trade breakage in assigned accounts.
• Meet customer service expectations through daily communication and follow up.
• Maintain professional, team relationships with coworkers, customers, and shoppers.
• Maintain inventory levels and point of sale materials to meet merchandising standards.
• Determine stores' product needs and place orders in coordination with routes.
• Communicate account activities to relevant parties.

Work days/Shift Hours:Full Time / Sunday - Thursday / 5am - Until Route Completion

Valid Drivers License Required, Merchandising, Grocery Stocking Experience

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $21.27 to $26.86 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

General Purpose

Responsible for replenishing, and merchandising products at all designated Large Store and similar accounts. Will function as an "acting supervisor" asneeded.Will motivate and inspire others within the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Designate location, build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standards
• Maintain appropriate product levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts including shelf allocation and cold equipment
• Manage back stock inventory levels and trade breakage in assigned accounts
• Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow up
• Maintains professional, team relationship with co-workers, customers, and shoppers
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets and point of sale, ensuring account meets Company merchandising standards
• Determine stores' product needs, place and transmit appropriate order in conjunction with existing geographic sales routes
• Communicate account activities to appropriate parties
• Maintain Merchandising standards while rotating products each time in designated accounts
• Replace and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for account

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+year of general work experience required
• 1+ in a people leading role
• Ability to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds; bend over, reach above head height, and kneeling.
• Previous sales/merchandising experience preferred
• Excellent planning and organization skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to use a personal vehicle during business hours
• Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
