Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Paramus, New Jersey, is hiring a Teacher to join our team. You will lead and mentor staff, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore and learn.

This role partners with families, supports enrollment and accreditation goals, and helps deliver high-quality early education across our centers. Candidates should have CDA credential or be pursuing NAEYC, plus English communication and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
