Job summary

Lakepoint Villa Assisted Living is seeking a Lead Medication Aide for the NOC/3rd shift on a full-time basis. The role includes administering medications, observing residents, documenting in MARs, and coordinating with Wellness leadership for continuity of care.

You will oversee daily med workflows, provide coaching to Medication Aides, and support the health and well-being of residents while maintaining high safety standards and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Medication administration certification up to date per state regulations.
• Strong accuracy in medication administration and documentation.
• Excellent communication with Wellness team and residents.
• Ability to supervise and train Medication Aides.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents.
• Observes residents taking medications and documents effects.
• Maintains medication administration records and reports concerns.
• Supports activities of daily living and preserves resident dignity.
• Oversees daily medication workflows and ensures timely administration.
• Coaches and trains Medication Aides and conducts quality checks.
• Acts as primary shift resource for medication questions and coordinates with Wellness leadership.
