Job summary

Lakepoint Villa Assisted Living is seeking a Lead Medication Aide for the NOC/3rd shift on a full-time basis. The role includes administering medications, observing residents, documenting in MARs, and coordinating with Wellness leadership for continuity of care.

You will oversee daily med workflows, provide coaching to Medication Aides, and support the health and well-being of residents while maintaining high safety standards and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Medication administration certification up to date per state regulations.

Observes the resident taking the medication, notes effects including any unexpected or adverse effects, correctly documents the required information in the residents’ medication administration records, communicates any concerns or observations with the Wellness Director, Wellness Coordinator or designated personnel. Supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.The Lead Medication Aide also oversees daily medication workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely administration. Provides coaching and support to Medication Aides, assist with training, and conduct routine quality checks of documentation and medication storage.
