Job summary

Lakepoint Villa Assisted Living is seeking a Lead Medication Aide to ensure safe administration of medications and provide guidance to the team. The role involves monitoring residents, documenting effects, and coordinating with the Wellness Director to maintain high-quality care.

The Lead Aide will supervise medication workflows, support staff training, and participate in quality checks to uphold regulatory requirements and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Medication administration training completed
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Meets age requirements per policy and state regulations
• Prior direct care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents per state rules.
• Document and communicate observations and any adverse effects to Wellness leadership.
• Oversee daily medication workflows for accuracy and timeliness.
• Coach and support Medication Aides; conduct routine quality checks of documentation and storage.
