Job summary

Maple Meadows Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Lead Medication Aide to join our team of professionals committed to resident well‑being.

You will administer prescribed medications, monitor resident responses, and document findings in medication records while coordinating closely with Wellness leadership to ensure safe, timely care. You will also coach Medication Aides and oversee daily workflows to maintain high accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of medication assistance training in compliance with state requirements.
• Up-to-date medication certification as required by state regulations.
• High school diploma or GED and CPR certification preferred.
• Meets age requirements according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents.
• Observes resident responses and documents effects in records.
• Oversees daily medication workflows and ensures timely administration.
• Coaches Medication Aides and supports training and quality checks.
• Coordinates with Wellness leadership to address concerns and maintain continuity of care.
