Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/biological/clinical or medical laboratory science from an accredited institution.
• Associate's degree in laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting CLIA 42CFR493.1489(b)(3)(ii).
• Military medical laboratory training courses (Medical Laboratory Specialist) and current or past status.
• Certification/licensure to meet CLIA/CAP requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures according to established procedures and policies.
• Operates laboratory instruments with checks, calibrations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Contributes to quality control and reports results with attention to discrepancies.
• Prepares samples, manages reagents, and ensures proper specimen storage.
