Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician to lead a designated laboratory area within the Clinical Laboratory. You will perform routine and complex tests, calibrate instruments, and ensure quality control under leadership guidance.

Requirements include MLS/MLT credentials or CLIA-equivalent training and a minimum of two years of lab experience. Strong communication and team leadership are essential to drive patient-care decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Alternate: Associate's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
• CLIA 42CFR493.1489(b)(3)(ii) equivalence acceptable.
• Military medical laboratory training may apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct, direct, or assist in special projects and research initiatives.
• Participate in cross-training rotations across laboratory sections.
• Contribute to performance improvements with data collection and analyses.
• Establish job requirements and maintain competency in duties.
• Provide leadership and act as a technical resource for the area.
