Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sciences plus 1 year of clinical laboratory work experience.
• HEW proficiency exam completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special tests with quality controls and accurate results.
• Draw blood samples.
• Set up, read, and report culture results in bacteriology.
• Maintain reagent inventories and prepare reagents as needed.
• Teach laboratory procedures to new personnel.
• Rotate between sections and shifts as workload requires.
• Comply with policies and HIPAA requirements; provide customer service.
