Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Lead Medical Technologist to oversee the operation of all laboratory sections and to step in for the supervisor as needed. You will monitor shift workflow, ensure compliance with clinical laboratory standards, and support the team in delivering accurate results.

This role requires strong leadership, thorough knowledge of lab procedures, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with eligibility for certification examination.
• Associate’s degree with certification as Medical Technologist/MLS/CLS.
• Military program graduate with CLS/MLS certification.
• Three years’ experience in a clinical laboratory
• Color-Acuity screening test required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Medical Technologist duties and assist supervisor; monitor shift operations in all lab sections.
• Take charge in the absence of the supervisor and ensure lab standards compliance.
