Qualifications

• Must rotate and be approved by lab supervisor in each section of the clinical laboratory.
• Registry with a board of registry for medical technology or meets NY standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex lab tests on blood, urine, tissues and body fluids to support diagnosis and patient management.
• Contribute to section productivity and cost effectiveness.
• Refer results or problems to Supervisor, Pathologist or Laboratory Manager.
• Maintain accuracy and operate under deadlines.
• Lead/Weekend responsibilities and flexibility.
