Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Clinic Oncology in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Certified Medical Physicist to lead design, optimization, and delivery of radiation treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

You will collaborate with physicians, Dosimetrists, therapists, and leaders to maintain robust QA programs, uphold radiation safety, and drive adoption of new technologies in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health/Medical Physics from an accredited program.
• Certification by ABR/ABMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or Canadian College of Medical Physics.
• State licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Design, calibrate, and optimize radiation treatment plans to ensure accurate patient care.
• Provide expert technical guidance for radiation therapy procedures and delivery.
• Lead quality management and QA programs with clinical teams.
• Coordinate NRC/state licensing for brachytherapy sources with RSO and regulatory bodies.
• Support adoption of new technologies and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with AAPM standards and safety requirements.
