North Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists seeks a Lead Medical Office Assistant for Midtown Pain and Spine Clinic. This full-time, non-exempt role combines clinical and administrative duties, supervising staff and supporting procedures while maintaining EMR documentation and patient service standards.

The position requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage high patient volumes; travel between Raleigh and Cary locations is expected.

Formación

• Lead experience as an MA or in a medical office setting is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• RN or LPN will be considered.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred or relevant experience.
• Experience in a specialty medical office and with EMR systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise medical assistant staff and act as team lead for front office and clinical duties.
• Assist the physician before, during, and after procedures and manage administrative tasks.
• Perform tasks such as prior authorizations, patient intake, EMR documentation, and scheduling.
• Coordinate daily assignments to ensure proper clinical coverage and workflow.
• Travel between Raleigh and Cary locations as needed to support clinics.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to new staff; uphold patient service standards.
