The State of North Carolina - Health & Human Services is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist II (S) at Central Regional Hospital, Butner, NC. The role supports laboratory planning, budgeting and operations, and acts as a technical resource for quality control and instrumentation.

In the absence of the supervisor, you’ll direct the lab and supervise lower-level staff, ensuring adherence to safety and laboratory policies while maintaining accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education with related experience.
• Experience in a medical laboratory in the assigned area.
• Ability to work under supervision and supervise others as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist supervisor with laboratory planning, budgeting and operations.
• Assist with staff selection, performance evaluation and LIS tasks.
• Direct operations in supervisor’s absence and supervise technologists and assistants.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory technology, chemistry or biological science

Associate’s degree in medical technology
