Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science is required.
• Several years of high-complexity clinical laboratory experience.
• Acceptable credentials include MLS/MT, BB, and other ASCP/AMT certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report all assigned laboratory testing for the area.
• Serve as an expert within the assigned field and instruct students and staff.
• Evaluate performance of students, residents, and new employees within deadlines.
• Present case studies or in-services as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure safety standards.
• Prepare and deliver continuing education presentations annually.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives in inventory, workflows, and safety.
