Salary Range: Min $27.89, Mid $34.86, Max $41.83.

Summary

Lead Medical Laboratory Technician responsible for performing routine laboratory procedures, participating in hiring, scheduling, training, and collaborating with other areas of the department and hospital. Promotes an open and collaborative environment while maintaining focus on quality patient care across all disciplines of the laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality specimen processing, evaluation, and results reporting.
• Perform daily instrument maintenance, troubleshoot and resolve specimen integrity problems.
• Collect specimens and interpret patient results and quality control data.
• Participate in Quality Assurance, calibrations, and Quality Control processes; maintain knowledge and interpretation of critical values.
• Participate in hiring, scheduling, training, and collaboration of the Medical Laboratory Tech team with other areas of the department and hospital.
• Promote an open and collaborative environment, fostering teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
