Vanderbilt Health's VCH Laboratory Pathology is seeking a patient‑focused professional with a strong background in medical laboratory operations. The role emphasizes collaboration with management to optimize workflows, ensure quality, and maintain regulatory compliance across all activities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and licensure under Tennessee's Medical Laboratory Act with ASCP certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Certifications: LIC‑Medical Laboratory Act – Tennessee.
• ASCP licensure as applicable.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Work Experience: 3 years.

Responsabilités

• Works with manager to enable the team to optimize operational processes and meet quality performance standards within the Laboratory service.
• Participates in the employee selection process, ensures staff are trained and competencies met, identifies training needs, provides feedback for performance evaluation.
• Assists with developing and implementing quality control/assurance programs, including proficiency testing and peer review standards.
• Maintains all required activities and documents to assure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
