Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Processes and tests blood and other body fluid specimens for the clinical laboratory.
• Reviews test results and applies the correct clinical interpretation of that data.
• Reports lab results accurately and responsively, including LIS usage.
• Performs operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation.
• Provides direction to laboratory staff and oversees assigned sections.
• Trains employees and students and participates in performance improvement activities.
