Job summary

The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a Lead Medical Coordinator (RN) to manage medical oversight for the ORR program across Bethlehem and Doylestown locations. This full-time role includes health screenings, medication oversight, and coordination with external providers to ensure high-quality pediatric and migrant health services.

You will train staff on medical topics, develop health policies, and participate in ORR-required meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree or higher health-related qualification.
• Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania RN licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year of public health or healthcare experience with care coordination, health administration, or direct clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings for newly admitted UACs within required timeframes.
• Oversee medication administration and management across program locations.
• Monitor ongoing medical needs and maintain confidential health records.
• Coordinate with external medical, dental, and public health providers.
• Respond to urgent health concerns and medical emergencies.
• Travel between Bethlehem and Doylestown locations for medical oversight.
