Tarzana Treatment Centers College (TTCC) invites applications for an Instructor in the Medical Assistant Program. The role delivers high-quality instruction, develops materials, and supports student progress in accordance with approved curricula and TTCC policies.

The position emphasizes maintaining current course content aligned with behavioral health workforce education and collaborating with Academic Supervisors to ensure student success and readiness for entry-level roles in healthcare

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience or equivalent education, training, and professional experience in the subject area being taught.
• Experience in student instruction, academic support, advising, or related roles within an educational institution preferred.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.

Aufgaben

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and grades, ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
• Submit finalized course syllabi to the Academic Supervisor prior to the commencement of the course term and introduce the syllabi to students before the course begins.
• Schedule and hold in person and/or online office hours to provide instructional support related to course content and academic requirements.
• Communicate regularly with students and respond to student correspondence within 24 hours to foster effective instructional engagement.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Learning Management Course Page to facilitate organized and efficient course delivery.
• Deliver and continuously improve the Medical Assistant curriculum in accordance with the approved curriculum, institutional policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
