Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a medical office.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam by obtaining and documenting vital signs and chief complaint.
• Perform phlebotomy and obtain specimens for processing.
• Administer vaccines and complete required documentation.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Pulmonary Function tests under physician supervision.
• Screen and direct patient calls according to established protocol.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely follow-up scheduling.
