Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical workflows at the Medford site. You will coordinate chart reviews, prepare patients for exams, and assist with vaccines, phlebotomy, and diagnostic tests under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Virtua Health Medical Assistant Program.
• Must have current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates Chart Review/Pre-visit planning with up-to-date clinical documents.
• Prepares patients for exams and documents vital signs and chief complaint.
• Perform phlebotomy and obtain specimens for processing; administer vaccines and document.
• Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG, Pulmonary Function) under physician supervision.
• Coordinate transitions of care and population health efforts with care team.
