Job Overview
The Medical Assistant III–Lead within the regulatory scope of practice, assists in the provision of direct patient care by performing routine patient care procedures, and technical and clerical supportive services in the clinical setting.The MA III may administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal injections and may perform skin tests, administer oral medication, venipunctures, and skin punctures for blood specimens.
Minimum Requirements
High School graduate or GED, along with a Medical Assistant diploma, required.
A California phlebotomist license is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience, preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population is preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Compensation
$27.25 - $32.02 hourlyCompensation Disclaimer
