Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is hiring a full-time Lead Medical Assistant for our South Philadelphia office. The position requires travel and offers a $500 sign-on bonus.

You will manage patient intake, ECGs, medication refill communications, and assist with stress tests and Holter monitoring under physician guidance. We seek a certified or registered Medical Assistant with 2–3 years of experience, BLS, strong multitasking and computer skills, and EMR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience required.
• Familiar with cardiology procedures (stress tests, Coumadin management, Holter monitors).
• BLS required.
• Must multitask and be computer literate.
• EMR experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms, take vital signs and basic health history; update EMR.
• Perform EKGs.
• Handle prescription refill voicemail.
• Call patients to confirm appointments and report results.
• Assist in stress testing, Holter monitoring, ambucor and warfarin monitoring under physician guidance.
• Perform MA responsibilities.
• Assist in hiring, training and reviewing staff.
• Coordinate day-to-day workflows of department.
• Develop and oversee department schedules.
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
