Job summary

Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians in Rogers, AR is seeking a Clinic Team Lead to act as a working lead within the clinic, supporting clinical duties and daily team oversight. You will assist providers with patient care, manage clinical workflows, mentor staff, and ensure smooth operation of the clinic environment.

Ideal candidates have CMA/RMA certification, 5+ years as a medical assistant, and at least 2 years of leadership experience in a clinic, with strong English and Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) strongly preferred.
• 2 years leadership experience in a clinic setting required.
• Minimum 5 years total medical assistant experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, team-oriented mindset.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in the use of EMR systems and clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures, diagnostic testing, and sterile techniques.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Serve as the go-to resource for staff regarding clinical procedures and workflow.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
• Assist with direct patient care, including rooming patients, taking medical histories, and collecting vitals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, medications, and post-visit care.
• Fit and instruct patients on the use of DME (durable medical equipment).
• Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas are clean, stocked, and properly maintained.
• Monitor inventory and order medical supplies and medications as needed.
• Ensure proper disposal of biohazard and SHARPS materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers and the Facilities Manager to identify and solve operational issues.
• Conduct audits and assist with quality improvement efforts.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
• Other duties as assigned to support clinic success.
