Job summary

HHM Health is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to join the Family Medicine team in Dallas, TX. This full-time professional role supports providers with clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced outpatient setting, ensuring accurate patient care, documentation, and safety protocols.

The MA will room patients, take vital signs, assist with procedures, manage specimens, and contribute to patient education. Spanish or other languages are a plus; state certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in family medicine, primary care, or outpatient clinics preferred.
• Ability to work independently with professional demeanor.
• Excellent patient engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during procedures.
• Perform basic clinical tasks including injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing as permitted.
• Administer medications and vaccines under provider direction.
• Document patient information in the EMR accurately.
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies; ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant with a passion for service excellence to join our Family Medicine team in the Dallas area. The Medical Assistant (MA) supports family medicine providers in delivering high-quality patient care by performing both clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced outpatient setting

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

• Administer medications and vaccines under provider direction
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
• Clean and stock exam rooms andmaintainclinical supplies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies and procedures.

What you need to succeed

To be a productive member of our team, you will have a pleasant and professional demeanor, be a self-starter, the ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and the ability to preserve confidentiality. You will also have the following:

• Previousexperience in family medicine, primary care, or outpatient clinic settings preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Excellent patient engagement and communication skills
• Knowledge of computers and data entry witha high levelof accuracy
• Bilingual in Spanish, Burmese, Pashto, Rohingya is a plus
• eClinicalWorks (EMR) experience preferred
