Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking experienced Med Techs / Certified Medication Aides for the 2nd shift to support resident health and wellness. The role emphasizes medication administration, documentation, and teamwork with the Wellness Nurse and care staff.

The ideal candidate has a valid Medication Aide certification and at least one year of elder-care experience, with strong leadership and communication skills. Weekend/evening availability is required to meet peak service needs.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Medication Aide and meet state requirements.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals.
• Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Experience in Assisted Living and dementia care preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ health and well-being and assist with medication administration.
• Assist Wellness Nurse with monthly wellness visits and PSP documentation.
• Communicate changes in medication or service needs to Wellness/Executive Directors.
• Obtain weights and vital signs for monthly wellness assessments.
• Provide resident care support as needed.
