Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC is seeking an Advanced Mechatronic / Robotic Technician to support, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve automated manufacturing systems and robotic equipment. You will work with maintenance, manufacturing engineering, operations, and quality teams to minimize downtime and sustain safe operation.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent in mechatronics or a related field and 3–5+ years of experience with PLC-driven automation.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in a mechatronics/robotics related field.
3-5+ years in maintaining automated manufacturing equipment or robotics.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems.
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation.
Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical docs.
Safety practices including lockout/tagout and machine guarding.
Proficiency with multimeters and diagnostic tools; good documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment and robotic cells.
Diagnose complex failures using schematics, ladder logic, and diagnostic tools.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on robotic and automated systems.
Support robotic programming, touch-up points, and process optimization.
Assist with PLC troubleshooting and minor program changes under controls.
Maintain and improve HMIs, sensors, safety circuits, and networks.
Support installation, commissioning, validation, and start-up of new equipment.
Document repairs, changes, and spare parts usage in the CMMS.
Read and interpret schematics/drawings; ensure safety compliance.
