Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Indiana to lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.

You will help train, and mentor service technicians and contract technicians, while upholding safety and quality in a cutting-edge facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years for preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years reading blueprints/schematics.
• 3+ years with CMMS.
• 2+ years with PLC programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project; able to manage documents.
• Able to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems; install/maintain/diagnose relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, solenoids, etc.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours, maintenance data, and parts used.
• Support: Lead and audit preventative maintenance; mentor junior technicians.
• Communication: Maintain positive relations across the Operations facility.
