Job summary

ATS is seeking an experienced maintenance professional in Illinois to lead preventive maintenance, predict failures, and optimize production lines. You will design upgrades, troubleshoot PLCs and drives, and mentor technicians in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical skills, comfort with data tools, and the ability to collaborate on CI projects. Travel may be involved; a high standard of housekeeping and safety is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a technical field plus 7+ years of experience; or 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with predictive technologies and maintenance of process equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute preventive maintenance plans.
• Perform break/fix on mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Program and tune PLCs and drives.
• Lead CI initiatives and cost-saving projects.
• Train and coach junior technicians.
• Document CMMS histories and maintenance trends.

Join us to raise the bar on equipment reliabilityAt ATS, you will be the go-to expert who keeps production moving, champions continuous improvement, and develops the next generation of technicians. You will pair deep technical skill with data-driven insight to prevent failures before they happen.How you'll leadAdvance reliability: Design and execute best-in-class preventive maintenance and sophisticated break/fix on mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems.
