Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Thermal Analysis Engineer II–IV to develop thermal analyses for unmanned aircraft and associated subsystems.

The role requires hands-on modeling, heat transfer assessments, and collaboration across engineering teams to ensure robust thermal performance in fast-paced development programs. The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in thermal engineering, and experience with SINDA/Thermal Desktop.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in thermal engineering.
• Experience with heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluids.
• Proficiency with thermal/fluids modeling tools (SINDA, Thermal Desktop).

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute thermal analysis tasks for aerial systems.
• Lead thermal engineering efforts on complex programs.
• Develop and size fuel and cooling systems.
• Support flight testing, data reduction, and reporting.
