AlphaHire is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through installation and closeout. The role requires owning budgets, schedules, field execution, subcontractor performance, and client relationships on active commercial projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, or commercial mechanical construction.
• Ownership of project budgets, schedules, field execution, subcontractor performance, and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation, mechanical drawings, specifications, and field operations.
• Experience with budgets, RFIs, change orders, and subcontractor management.
• Experience with construction project management software and scheduling tools.
• Direct interaction with general contractors, owners, engineers, and inspectors on active commercial projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from preconstruction through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and labor plans to meet deadlines and profitability goals.
• Oversee field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and safety.
• Review drawings and specs to identify scope gaps and resolve issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, procurement, and project documentation to control costs.
• Track job costs, labor hours, and materials; implement corrective actions when budget deviates.
• Serve as primary contact for general contractors, owners, engineers, inspectors, and internal field teams.
• Monitor permitting, inspections, equipment deliveries, startup, testing, and commissioning to keep projects on schedule.
• Drive project closeout and turnover documentation.
