Job summary

Gaven Industries is seeking a Project Engineer to own mechanical design and execution for RF-shielded cabinets, containers, and integrated enclosures. You will bridge project engineering and design, driving from bid through production release while ensuring manufacturability and compliance.

This onsite role in Saxonburg, PA collaborates with Project Management, Production, Quality, and EMEV to meet milestones and deliver robust, producible designs.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with mechanical design of fabricated assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design execution for RF-shielded cabinets, containers, and integrated enclosures.
• Lead design reviews and ensure production-release readiness.
• Translate customer requirements into executable mechanical designs and BOMs.
• Perform structural and tolerance analyses; manage DFMEA to mitigate risks prior to production release.
• Drive BIM coordination and create complete, production-ready drawings.
