We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical, piping and plant layout activities on major mining programs from Mesa, AZ in a hybrid, full-time role. The position offers an office-based/hybrid environment with a salary range of 115,000–160,000 USD and requires 8+ years in senior mechanical/piping roles, with EPC/EPCM mining experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years as Lead or Senior Mechanical and Piping Engineer.
• 4+ years supporting Mining, Minerals & Metals projects.
• Experience developing mining plant layouts with safety and operability.
• Proficiency with AVEVA E3D/Smart 3D or similar tools.
• EPC/EPCM mining project experience preferred.
• Arizona PE licensure or ability within 12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and piping engineering for mining projects.
• Act as lead engineer, oversee teams.
• Develop mining plant layouts and 3D models.
• Coordinate with Process, Civil/Structural, Electrical, I&C and Operations.
• Review and approve technical deliverables.
• Support procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers.
