Responsibilities

• Directs activities of shop employees to meet quality and safety standards and production schedules.
• Selects, supervises, assigns and schedules staff and coordinates with other operation phases.
• Monitors processes and products to ensure quality, safety and cost control.
• Ensures equipment is properly handled, maintained and secured.
• Consults with engineers and QA inspectors regarding product integrity.
• Builds and leads a productive work group as part of management.
