Job summary

Gradiant is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the Operations team for local USA projects. The candidate should have 10–15 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater treatment, EPC environments, and international project exposure.

Responsibilities include design reviews, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with customer specs and codes. The role requires leading mechanical engineering activity, interfacing with multiple disciplines, and

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Equivalent).
• 10+ years' experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience as lead engineer.
• Water/wastewater treatment experience preferred.
• Familiar with API, ASME, AWS, NACE and AWWA codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering execution for water and wastewater projects in the USA.
• Lead design reviews with clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate with disciplines to meet process, civil, structural, piping, electrical and instrumentation needs.
• Review vendor quotations and equipment datasheets; manage documentation approval.
