Job summary

You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to develop cost-effective, sustainable solutions from concept through construction, while promoting green building strategies such as LEED. Qualifications

• Five (5+) years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and engineering load calculation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems from concept through construction.
• Develop cost-effective design solutions that meet client goals and energy performance.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with architects, engineers, and code officials.
• Prepare diagrams, layouts, equipment schedules, and specifications.
• Review designs for code compliance and LEED or Green Globes considerations.
• Support shop drawing reviews, site observations, and punch list activities.
• Use Revit and AutoCAD to coordinate designs across disciplines.
