Job summary

Intuitive Machines West in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Responsible Engineer for the MAGE Engineering group to interface with aerospace disciplines and support design, fabrication, delivery and AIT of mechanical ground support equipment. This role requires collaboration with customers and program teams to define requirements and guide mechanical design engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of work experience in mechanical design / design leadership or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of mathematics, physics and statics as they relate to mechanical components and lifting/integration systems.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for spacecraft assembly, integration and test equipment.
• Provide design requirements and guidance to mechanical design engineers.
• Maintain engineering drawings and support fabrication and delivery of assemblies.
